A Different Kind of Kigurumi Question

:P ok my dear ! The photoshoot thing is for one's own benefit if they aren't able to get to a convention, and at the same time it can benefit other people if you happen to be with fellow Kiggers. Oh but there's so much more to the photo shoot than that. Photo shoots allow Kigurumi Performers to pra...

Some More Kigurumi Questions.

Hi: Let's see how much I can confuse the issues. ;) 1. Zentai can vary from really cheap to extremely expensive. Depends on the quality of the material used, the number of extra features like gloves, closed faces or toes you'd like. You will need to decide what's important based on your costume cove...

questions to the members

I guess I became a Kigurumi Performer to better interact with the Otaku. In North America most Anime fans are younger than 18 years. At over 25, I belong to a separate group of Otaku. The two groups do not interact much at conventions. However Kigurumi cuts through all age barriers. A Kigurumi masco...

What is your favourite thing about kigurumi?

I guess that there's three things for me.

1. The anonymity which gives me the freedom to goof with my audience.

2. The hugs I get from appreciative fans.

3. The looks on children and Parent's faces, as I Interact with them, in a public setting.

Zentai Help?

It shouldn't hurt as long as I am really careful otherwise the other slider will go and that's the end of the zentai. I have never seen a full length zipper in stores like the one which broke. However, it could easily be replaced with two zippers, one for the hood, one for the body. Just sew the ne...

Expectation in Kigurumi

I know some people have strong feelings about Original Kigurumi Girls wearing what would be considered "Normal" clothing. But I have seen Kig girls like Miharu and Reika, Alexa and especially Leigh, wearing what we would normally call street clothing and looking good. It's a casual style w...

New Hairstyle for the ENA mask.

This is SO the hairstyle I want to use for my new Kig mask, and almost the same color as well. I am just looking for the best way to make the hair stand up on top. WYU has made suggestions in a separate thread. But I'm still looking for other ideas as to how to do it. Kaylee is right. Most Kig masks...

good impressions

I think one of the best things we can do as Western Kigs, to promote the art form here in North America, is to have effective spokespeople. By that I mean Handlers going around with us who are well versed in the Art, and can answer questions one on one , when we get asked them in public. Being Kigur...

Re: A new convention!

Agreed! It was real fun meeting the new people like Nerupo and Rin Rin. Hope that they keep in touch. Next year I hope to be performing myself.
